The Warriors, who lost their first two games in the only home-and-away collegiate basketball league in the country, humbled the Red Lions, who were in the fight only in the first two quarters.

The Red Lions earned a trip to the finals by pulling off a come-from-behind 78-72 win over reigning University Athletics Association of the Philippines champion Far Eastern University at home while the UE Warriors gave Ateneo de Manila a rude reception at the UE gym with a lopsided 81-58 victory in the two knockout semifinal matches Thursday.
